Land Rovers, Wine, Have I got news for you, Jesus, Singing, John, Hiking, Photography, Astronomy, Chile, Swimming..... these are a few of our favourite things.
"We" are Douglas and Rachel Gilmour. Our son John was born in March 2010. Our second son Peter was born in 2012. We lived in Chile between 2005 and 2008. We now live in central Scotland.
Douglas works for TomTom licencing the maps that go into satnav devices and selling then travel time and behavioural data coming out of them. He previously worked as a transport planner and economist for Transport Scotland.
Rachel is a freelance science communicator and tutor, communicating astronomy and physics to pupils in schools and colleges.
