No, its not a form of para gliding, parascending or otherwise. Indeed, it’s entirely unrelated to levitation.
It means “to take away”. Chilean restaurants and snack bars don’t like to waste food they’ve made for you, so they offer to package whatever food you have left on your plate for you to take with you. Brilliant. We lasted three days on two meals out. One meal provided the pizza. Another the cake. Mmmm.
Apparently, they also have a direct translation of “doggy bag” (that one is for you Wiggy!). I assume that since dog is perro, it involves a perro….
