<description>Talking of bugs, has anyone wondered what it must be like to be a large beetle with wings zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz? One imagines you might develop some serious vanity issues, especially if you were adorned with large red spots which doubled up as a warning for all predators to get lost...and all that splendid armour for combat with other bugs must keep the ego inflated.

I have been pondering the thought while finishing off my last assignment for this term yippee!!! You can tell that my essay was captivating :-) oh yes.

I was just chatting to a lady doing her masters on creation (whether it was God's play or work). I think the bug part must have been play. Her assignment sounded definitely like work :-). Our God is so full of humour!

Next time I lead prayers I might be tempted to begin, "Let us play" instead of the traditional version :-). I'm sure God wants us to play with him as we express our imago dei creativity even in prayer but I think there's a reason why certain things become tradition and other don't! I like the sound of playing all week and resting on the Sabbath but I don't think God's as lazy as I am.
