View from our temporary flat in Santiago!
Its taken me a couple of days to get my bluetooth phone-laptop connection working, but I can finally show you the view from our 2ft long 1ft wide balcony here in Santiago. We can see the snow covered 10,000ft mountains to the north of the city in the evenings and on clear days (on the right of the photo). They are beautiful in the evening when lit red by the sun.
Even within Santiago, there are some big hills (3000ft!).
So, Chris… these ones are for you.
And finally… in what seems rather strange to us westerners- Christmas decorations in 32 degrees heat!
