Successful backup!

Well yesterday i managed to setup the backup program which helpfully saves a copy of the database tables to either the server or allows you to download one. Obviously, backups are useful in case of a major server breakdown or an A1 mess up (disordenado) on my part when maintaining the site. Indeed, 2 hours later, this is exactly what i did, taking the site offline for an hour or so. Thankfully, no need for a backup to be used.

Haven’t managed to do anything today since we took a tour of the City Centre this morning and i had a spanish lesson this afternoon.

    Hello D+R,

How is Chile? I have emailed Nelson + Ale so maybe you can get in touch with them soon.

This seemed the most appropriate place to ask why the “Astronomy for dummies” links to Ian Smail’s homepage!?!?!

Hi Richard…. hope you get this message! Now i know who Chilean Death Spider is! Do you remember that spider from the park near Temuco? The one that jumped out of the tree and made us run for it?! Classic. Good memories!

I liked Ian Smail’s homepage…. some very interesting articles on astronomy, useful definitions and explanations. So i added his site to our links for those who wanted to know more.

    Basta. Enough said!
